Regular Visits

Kids loving getting their adjustments. Now that you and the doctor have discovered that you have subluxations in your spine and agreed on a course of care to correct them, your typical visit will be more simplified and take less time. After checking in at the front desk, within minutes you will be escorted in to see the doctor. He will check your areas of subluxation, see how your body is adapting to the changes taking place in your spine from previous adjustments and home exercises you have been doing. He will then make the adjustments needed that day for your continued progress. After your adjustment the doctor will make recommendations of what you should do in your home care program. If you are in the process of making corrective and/or rehabilitative changes to your spine, you will likely move to another area of the office to work on stretching or exercising your spine after your adjustment. When you are finished you will return to the front desk to confirm your care plan arrangements and get back to your busy day with a renewed feeling of energy and vitality.

If your current visit consists of having your spine checked and adjusted only, you should reserve about 10 – 15 minutes for it. However, if you are also engaging in stretching or exercising your spine after your adjustment you should reserve about 20 – 25 minutes.

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
